Series of Plant Portraits, 'Life on Mars'

I can think of nothing better than hanging around National Trust gardens with my camera in warmer months. I will then be spotted amongst the raised beds surreptitiously getting up close and personal to the verdant bedding plants.

Unfortunately I can't just leave nature's colour palette alone and have heightened, squeezed and slapped the colours around a bit in Photoshop.

Not for the faint-hearted.
